Abenex joins Hygeco Management team in its newly found independence from the Dutch group de Facultatieve, in order to further develop the company, both in France and internationally.
Established in 1887, Hygeco has historically specialised in deceased embalming care. For more than 30 years, the group has extended its activities to the manufacturing of post-mortem equipment and the distribution of funeral products towards at funeral homes, hospitals and mortuaries.
Relying on a team of 340 people specialised in the post-mortem field; Hygeco is the only French player, able to fully address the main national funeral groups.
Benefiting from a large range of products (urns, body bags, etc.), the group is also largely present internationally. Thanks to its modern, German-based post-mortem equipment production unit, the group is able to answer local and international clients needs, with a turnkey offer from design and manufacturing to equipment installation and set up within mortuaries, hospitals and post-mortem medical laboratories.
