Abenex completes the successful exit of Ekoscan Integrity Group, a global non-destructive testing leader

After three years of partnership marked by a strong international expansion, five strategic build-up acquisitions, and a significant expansion of operational scale-up, Abenex has completed the successful exit of Ekoscan Integrity Group.

 

A key international player in asset integrity management

Founded in 2010, Ekoscan Integrity Group (EIG) delivers cutting-edge ultrasonic NonDestructive Testing (NDT) solutions, enabling the efficient monitoring of critical infrastructure. EIG offers comprehensive asset integrity management solutions designed to enhance performance, safety, and sustainability throughout the asset lifecycle.

The company has experienced exceptional growth, fueled by a surge in demand across strategic industries such as chemicals, energy, hydrogen, mobility, and aerospace & defense, where ensuring asset integrity has become a top priority. Since Abenex became shareholder of the EIG in 2022, the company achieved has recorded remarkable growth, with revenues increasing nearly fivefold. Abenex’s support was key to unlocking EIG’s growth potential, supporting international development, executing five strategic build-ups, and accelerating the Group’s industrial and technological development. Leveraging its operational expertise, Abenex helped reinforce the management team and position the company as a global NDT reference.

 

Next-stage innovation and expansion

This investment by Eurazeo marks a key milestone in Ekoscan Integrity Group’s international expansion, with a particular focus on strengthening its position in strategic markets such as the United States and Asia. The Group will capitalize on this momentum to drive organic and external growth, further consolidating its leadership in advanced NDT. The next phase will focus on boosting innovation capabilities and strengthening technological edge, as the Group prepares to deploy its next-generation NDT solutions on a global scale. The company is now backed by Eurazeo and two key industrial partners, Fonds France Nucléaire 2 (managed by Siparex) and Air Liquide, who will support its continued global growth and technology roadmap.
