Abenex is pleased to announce the promotion of three of its employees within the Small-Cap, and Mid-Cap teams:
- The Small-Cap team composed of eight investment professionals and is currently investing its second-generation fund (in fundraising – target €160m)
- The Mid-Cap team composed of 17 investment professionals and is currently investing its sixth-generation fund
Small-Cap team
Foucault Crombez, Principal
Foucault is promoted to Principal within the Abenex Small-Cap team. Foucault began his career in private equity after experiences in mergers and acquisitions at Access Finance in Angers and Crédit Agricole CIB in Paris. He joined Abenex in 2019, following a successful internship and was notably involved in the acquisitions of Inlog, ESCG, ISCG, and Prevost Laboratory.
Foucault graduated from Toulouse Business School.
Mid-Cap Team
Albin Crosnier, Principal
Albin is promoted to Principal within the Abenex Mid-Cap team, which he joined in 2019. He contributed to Abenex’ investments in Squad, Di Marco, Skin Artists and Only, and has supported the management teams of LP Promotion and Hygeco. Albin began his career in Private Equity after experiences in mergers and acquisitions at Oddo BHF, then in strategy and innovation management at CMA CGM in Marseille.
He graduated from ESCP Europe.
Nicolai Donsa, Principal
Nicolai is promoted to Principal within the Mid-Cap team at Abenex. Nicolai started his career as a management consultant in 2017 at Oliver Wyman in Paris. For five years, he assisted international companies on a variety of topics ranging from Corporate Development and Diversification, Sales and Pricing optimization, to Operational Performance. As a Manager at Oliver Wyman, he was involved in several strategic due diligences for private equity funds and corporations. He joined Abenex as an Investment Associate in 2022 and contributed among others to the investment in Group Leader Insurance and Europa.
Nicolai graduated from ESCP Europe.
