Olivier Moatti

Managing Partner

Olivier is a Managing Partner at Abenex. Alongside Hervé Claquin and Patrice Verrier, he led the spin-off of ABN AMRO’s private equity division in 2008, enabling Abenex to become fully independent. He has led numerous transactions in the consumer, services, safety and healthcare sectors and predominantly focuses on consumer and services. Olivier grew up in Cannes and has family roots in Tuscany. He spent ten years working in operations, including as Sales Manager at IBM France and Managing Director at CIBOX Group, a listed SME in the IT sector, and also in management consulting at Accenture and Boston Consulting Group. He moved into venture capital in 2000 at Europ@web, the Arnault Group’s holding company dedicated to digital and technology investments, working in the operational management team that supported start-ups in their development. At the end of 2001, he joined the venture capital team at ABN AMRO before moving to the private equity team, which rebranded as Abenex in 2008
