Abenex invests in Squad

Abenex invests in Squad, the Cybersecurity and DevOps specialist

Squad welcomes Abenex into its shareholder base, alongside Founders Eric Guillerm and Marc Brua as well as 15 of the group’s executives.

Squad is an IT services company specialized in Cybersecurity and DevOps. Relying on a network of seven branch offices in France and one in Australia, Squad stands out thanks to its robust organic growth generated since inception in 2011.

The transaction allows for a reorganization of the ownership structure, while ensuring management continuity and enabling the investment of new partners. The operation also provides Squad with significant financial resources to support strong organic growth and targeted acquisitions.

“With Abenex as a partner, we have the resources to take our growth up to the next level and strengthen our role as a key partner to large corporates, in optimizing and securing their IT infrastructure”, said Eric Guillerm, Chairman and co-founder of Squad.

“We were impressed by Squad’s highly-skilled management team. The firm has successfully implemented industry’s best practices and expertise, ideally positioning Squad to seize the growing cybersecurity market”, said Olivier Moatti, Managing Partner at Abenex.

“We are very pleased to have partnered with Apax Partners Development over the past few years, and the support we have received from Isabelle Hermetet and her team has been invaluable. We are looking forward to further develop Squad with Abenex”, added Marc Brua, CEO and co-founder of Squad.

“It has been a pleasure for us to accompany Squad and its two founders since 2017. The company has performed exceptionally well and it has been particularly rewarding to be part of the adventure”, said Isabelle Hermetet, Partner at Apax Partners Development.
