Tartefrais SAS, the French leader in fresh industrial pastry based in Falaise (14) employing 220 people and generating 27 million Euros in sales, has become the leading operating company of the NG agri-food Group. This group, created by Abenex, aims to develop and promote natural and high-quality French food products in France and abroad. The group, based in Falaise in Calvados, is owned by Abenex, the Managers and historical shareholders, Patrick Georget and Groupe Vikings.
Abenex has chosen Franck Malinowski to head the NG Group.
Franck Malinowski has more than 20 years of experience in general management of agri-food companies, notably at Agrial where he carried out an in-depth development of the beverage branch (ECLOR) through organic and external growth, in France and abroad. For Franck Malinowski, “Tartefrais has solid foundations to accelerate its development; committed employees, a quality management team and above all products that meet the aspirations of consumers who demand quality and naturalness, which sums up Tartefrais’ DNA. It is now up to us to introduce the great Tartefrais products by accelerating the deployment of our brand L’atelier Georget (in reference to the name of the founder of the company).”
The new group will leverage on its Normandy platform to launch an ambitious external growth strategy with the aim of expanding its offer to its customers in France and abroad. “Our ambition is to continue the development of Tartefrais in its markets, to penetrate other markets with new products, particularly for export, and to support the company so that it becomes a solid midcap by capitalising on the quality and naturalness of the products”, explains Thomas Peretti d’Abenex.
